As a note of caution…
I am seeing people chasing squirrels right now; trying to find out what’s working best, and throwing wet paper against the wall to see what sticks.
It happens this time every year.
Agents will do about anything to find the next shiny object versus doing the real work.
What is the real work?
Going on appointments!
Through thick and thin, good times and bad, ups and downs, it is NEVER a bad idea to go on more appointments.
And… going on a listing appointment a day will create a business for you that you can do just about anything with.
It will give you a future that you can count on.
I go back to what ‘ole Uncle WB ((as I like to call him)) has to say about the topic…
When asked about making consistent deposits into the stock market, Warren Buffett told CNBC’s On The Money in an interview recently. “I think it’s the thing that makes the most sense practically all of the time.”
And he suggests staying the course, despite market fluctuations. “Keep buying it through thick and thin”.
Doing one thing over and over again consistently to get the best results. PRICELESS!
That’s coming from the smartest investor of all time.
BTW – when I lived in Omaha, I got to meet him privately a couple of times.
He even signed one of those fake $1,000,000 bills for me. When I gave it to him to sign, he chuckled and said “these are what I use for tips”.
