Every morning this week I have been walking the silky sand beaches of Laguna Beach California.
I’m here on a personal development retreat.
No wife. No dogs. No friends. No business partners.
I do this at least once a year to get clarity, stay on purpose, clear my head, talk with God and recharge the energy source.
It’s one of my favorite things to do all year. No offense to the other vacations or my loved ones for that matter.
I just know that when I take care of myself, I can take care of those around me even better.
Throughout the year, I have pretty consistent habits of meditating and journaling every day.
I also take walks daily and spend time dedicated time contemplating and strategizing how I can best serve my clients.
That’s just what works for me.
Everyone is unique and different in how they grow and improve.
The key is that you do the real work required to progress, expand and better yourself.
Because it is work.
It takes a dedicated focus and deliberate attempt to step up your game and raise the bar.
Otherwise you will just be left behind wondering what happened.
I’ve got agents coming to me all the time saying… “Jim, I don’t know what’s broken. The way I used to do business a few years ago just isn’t working anymore. Please HELP ME!”
They are pissed that the other agents in the office are doing a ton of business and they are just scraping by and barely paying the bills.
That’s what happens when you don’t invest in yourself.
There is a reason I say do the real work in this message every day.
Because it gets results.
Want to invest a couple of bucks (literally…it’s not much at all) to upgrade your current situation?
Here you go:
Do the real work with power and purpose
