Gladwell specifically teaches on the “10,000-Hour Rule”, claiming that the key to achieving world-class expertise in any skill, is, to a large extent, a matter of practicing the correct way, for a total of around 10,000 hours.

Let’s put that in real estate terms…..

If you were to show homes for 8 hours a day, it would take you 1,250 consecutive days of showing homes to reach 10,000 hours ((that’s 3.4 years))

Damn that would suck!

Let’s go to the seller side of things.

If you go on 1 listing appointment a day, every day of the week, and you invested 2 hours in that listing presentation, it would take you 13.6 years to reach 10,000 hours.
